Overview Attractions Properties Branches News

The suburb Mowbray originates from one of the owners of the farm Welgelegen in 1853 who came from Melton Mownray in England.  The area is comprised of 39 Blocks of Flats, 77 BUsiness and 3 Industrial frehold properties.; as well as 71 Business zoned sectional title units.  Three major arterial roads cut through the suburb  -the M3, the M5 and Main Road.  Settlers Way is a feeder road to the CBD, so there is high car and taxi traffic.  CPUT is within the boundaries of the suburb and several schools and UCT are on the borders of the suburb.  In essence a good hub to access not only the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town but also the run to the Cape Town International Airport and adjacent industrail areas such as Ndabeni and Epping.
